Camp Century & Project Iceworm

In 1959 the US Army built a base inside the Greenland ice sheet — nuclear reactor, hospital, chapel, cinema, three kilometres of tunnels — and called it a research station. It was cover for a plan to hide 600 nuclear missiles under the ice. This is what was down there, why it failed, and what a forgotten box of frozen mud from the bottom of it is telling us now.

Narration is a synthesized voice; the music and sound design are produced. Every clip, photo, figure and claim is real and sourced.
